event: Mendelssohn Chorus * Italy Tour

In its first tour in over 40 years, singers from the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia travel internationally to Italy to sing in iconic spaces to celebrate the start of their 150th Anniversary Season, AS I LIVE AND BREATHE. Featuring music of Palestrina, Duruflé, Whitacre, Parker, Hogan, Lauridsen, and Handel, with the world premiere performance of Dominick DiOrio's A Bright Morning Dawns, with a new original commissioned poem by Philly-based writer and dramaturg Jacqueline Goldfinger.
