text

A Bright Morning Dawns by Jacqueline Goldfinger

My children, your voices lift as one, a new day begun, wretched shadows flee the moment of victory.

Open eyes, open arms, open home.

A bright morning dawns. Brittle bones gird with steel, you sing new eternities.

Bells toll the changing of the guard.

Life. Love. Justice.

I give the world to you.
