NOTUS and director Dominick DiOrio are honored to sing on the concert in memory of the late Carmen-Helena Téllez, who led the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble (now NOTUS) from 1992-2012 and also served as the director of the Latin American Music Center at Indiana University. Repertoire by Han Lash ("De profundis clamavi" from Requiem), Paul Chihara ("Lie Lightly, Gentle Earth"), Jennifer Higdon ("Invitation to Love") and a work by Carmen herself, Lux Vivens based on the music of Hildegard von Bingen.
